Community achievers nominated

MORE Yorke Peninsula groups and organisations have been named as nominees for the 2017 South Australian Community Achievement Awards.

YP Puppy Rescue is nominated for the TAFE SA Connecting Commu­nities Award and Barunga Village, Port Broughton, is nominated for the Alzheimer’s Australia SA Dementia Care Excellence Award.

YP Puppy Rescue has been nominated for its community work including 1914 rescues, of which 109 were kittens, and creating a fund to help people who need assistance with their pets.
