FOR Moonta’s John Fidgeon the Anzac Day march is an important occasion to not only acknowledge those who died at war, but also keep history alive through the next generations.

John’s granddaughter Jessica Abdullah has joined him in the march almost every year since she was a small child.

This year, Jessica’s children Aiden, 3 years old, and Emily, 6 months, will be at their great-grand-father’s side.
