Leila keeping moving at 100

LEILA Reade’s motto in life is to keep moving and, even though she’s just celebrated her 100th birthday, doesn’t use her age as an excuse not to do anything.

Birthday celebrations began with a morning tea with fellow residents at Eldercare South Park, Minlaton, on Friday, March 17.

She then enjoyed lunch at her family’s original homestead at Curramulka with a small family group including children Bevan Reade, David Reade and Pauline (Flo) Jarvis. Leila was then the centre of attention at a larger family reunion on the weekend.
