CONCERNS... Moonta Bay resident Bryan Newton had reception issues after the installation of an Optus tower.
Moonta television reception impacted by new tower
MOONTA Bay residents have been seeing red, but not their desired television programs, since an Optus tower was installed on Wedge Road, Port Hughes.
Since the tower was erected in early March, more than 70 complaints of major TV reception issues have been reported, and many locals are out of pocket in the process.
The Copper Coast Council approved the tower, but has said it had no choice because it had to follow the Development Act.
