New stadium a slam dunk

THE first games have been played in the new Copper Coast Sport and Leisure Centre stadium, almost five years after discussions initially started.

Yorke Valley Basketball As­soc­iation’s under 18 men were the first to test out the three sprung floors at the Kadina facility during the season opener on Friday, October 28.

“Wow was a quite common word to hear on Friday,” YVBA president Mike Newton said.
